sugar & spice and all things nice…

What are little boys made of, made of?

What are little boys made of?

Frogs & snails and puppy dog tails,

that’s what little boys are made of.

What are little girls made of, made of?

What are little girls made of?

Sugar & spice and all things nice,

that’s what little girls (and their bedrooms!)

are made of.

When I was little I found two roughly cut amethyst stones in my house. I felt like I’d found treasure and kept it hidden somewhere, probably in a make-shift little treasure box. In Yr 7 I passed a shop that sold natural stones and I bought a few..¬† thought I’d maybe start a collection of them. In Yr 8 we made a diorama type box thing, displaying things that represented ourselves. I stuck two of my prettiest stones in there. Some of our dioramas were displayed in the school’s prayer room and some ass someone¬† stole my stones. Anyway I’ve seen some photos of pretty stones adorning people on clothes, etc & these are real nice…
